She discusses the neighborhood she grew up in and how it didn’t matter how much someone had because everybody shared everything. Dorathy tells a story of her two marriages, how she lost one of her sons and the similarities between her and her daughter. Dorathy is a court-worker in the city and she gives a lengthy, detailed description of some of the things that happen in the court-worker program. She also shares her views on where she thinks the future of Aboriginal people holds for them. Despite all of the rough times in Dorathy’s life, she was able to get through them and she says it was because of her strong spirituality. |
