He worked for sixty years some of which was on a steamboat. Fred talks about his family background, where his parents were born and where they died, names of grandparents, aunts, uncles, and siblings. Fred went to school for seventeen years in Fort Chipewyan before he started working. He discusses his school experiences and the things the school provided him with and the religion they taught him. Fred talks about a fellow by the name of George McInnis who operated a commercial fishing business out of Fort McMurray where Fred used to work. He shares stories of some of the experiences he had working in Fort McMurray for many years. |
