Mr. Ledoux, aged 99 at time of this interview, is of mixed French-Canadian and First Nations ancestry but is registered as a Treaty Indian. He was present during the 1885 Resistance and discusses what he saw, his views on the resistance and the people involved. Isadore attended the University of British Columbia and became a civil engineer. He shares a story of how Mistawasis, the informant's grandfather and a Métis, "went Native." |
