Ed was born in Canada but his father was from the United States. When Ed got older he went down into the States for work but returned back to Canada. He was married in 1963 and has four children and two grandchildren. He joined the army when he was 17 years old and he stayed in the army for thirteen years. He shares stories of army life and how he joined because he wanted to do something for his country. Ed strongly believes that if the Métis work together, thy will be able to regain the Michif language that is almost lost. |
