Landry, M.P., 61st Battalion Commanding the Wimbeldon Team of 1885”; “(3) Capt. Clark, 90th Batt., wounded at Fish Creek, Adjutant of the Wimbeldon Team of 1885, from a photograph by Hall & Lowe, of Winnipeg”; and (2) Lieut.-Col Montizambert, Commandant of ‘B’ Battery, Canadian Artillery, senior officer of that branch of the service in the North-West Field Force”. The caption for the White Cap image lists Chief Whitecap, his wife and daughter – although their personal names are not given. The Dakota chief was imprisoned during the 1885 Resistance because some members of his band fought with the Métis during the Battle of Batoche, (May 9-12, 1885).
