This series of workshops and curriculum materials, tailored for indigenous pre-service teachers, explores indigenous issues reaching international concerns, and Canad`s role in working with these nations. The project will also bring visitors from international indigenous communities to Saskatchewan-area schools, where they will share, via storytelling, experiences and development issues that are important their people. In turn, these initiatives will establish and encourage ongoing connections between Saskatchewan schools and the developing country visitors after they return to their homelands. |
