Fisher given during the ``Batoche and the Northwest Revisited: A Century of Search and Development `` Canadian Association of Social Studies/Saskatchewan Council of Social Studies Teachers Conference that was held in Saskatoon on May 2-4, 1985. This item was donated to the Institute by Dennis and Jean Fisher in 2011. This collection contains archaeological artifacts taken from the battlefields of the 1885 Resistance as well as Fort Pitt (Saskatchewan), Cumberland House (Saskatchewan) and St. Peter’s Mission, Montana. The collection also includes various artifacts and ephemera relating to the 1885 Resistance and Gabriel Dumont. |
