Title: Michif Conversational Lessons for Beginners (Booklet)
Creator: Rita Flamand, Métis Culture and Heritage Resource Centre Inc.
Subject: Michif
Description: This resource was co-created by the Métis Culture and Heritage Resource Centre Inc. (formerly, the Metis Resource Centre Inc. established in 1995), and Rita Flamand. Lorraine Freeman was the founder, past president and executive director of the Métis Resource Centre Inc.

This document contains 10 lessons on beginner conversational Michif. The original resource came with two accompanying audio CDs.

"The Metis Resource Centre Inc. was incorporated in the fall of 1996 as a non-profit, charitable organization working towards the preservation and restoration of Metis history, culture and Metis genealogy. Through these ten Michif Language Lessons the Metis Resource Centre will attempt to provide basic conversational language lessons for those who want to have an interactive experience of the spoken and written language. Due to the many regional and cultural dialects, this language is not 'written in stone' although there is on-going work being done for the preservation of our Michif language."
